Practice 2/27

So this week and the next are the last practices we have until we go on tour. The last show we played, The Monolith a week or so ago, was kind of iffy. I'm not worried about that though, because all our practice since then have been insanely rock and/or rollin. We've all been sick and in bad moods, but all that is clearing up and we're excited as hell. "Luche A La Muerte" will finally be seeing an official release, and more importantly, Shutdown will be able to tour!

Had a meeting with jordan about the release, length of the touring, ect. We got into it briefly, but i feel relief now that everything is cleared up and agreed on. We have one song written for the next record, but other than that all we're doing right now is practicing the songs off "Luche".

Due to complications we've had to sit on this record for almost a year. If you know us you probably know the story, so I'm not going to type it all out here. Naturally if you write some songs, record them, and go play them for a year there will be a million things you want to change. As I was driving home last night though I couldn't help but think "Fuck, we were this good a year ago?? We're going to kill it on tour"

Eight days till we leave. That's all I got for now.

Currently listening to:
Queen - Live At Wembley
Luna Sea - Eden
Lucinda Williams - West
